“Glenna”

These have been created in double knit yarn to provide warmth to your wrists and lower arms, and created from one skein of hand dyed yarn.

Their name and inspiration come from the lovely character Glenna FitzGibbons, better known as Mrs Fitz from the Outlander story.

The cable stitches in the design make the fabric of the warmer thick and cosy and I could quite see Mrs Fitz wearing these as she bustles around Castle Leoch.

The cable stitch is an easy introduction to cable knitting and the pattern contains the instructions clearly for you.

They are knitted flat and then flat seamed together, to either make wrist or hand warmers depending on how you stitch the seam.

Perfect for a quick gift or to simply give your own arms a treat.
