Get out the tape measure, folks, because this one pattern will allow you to create perfectly sized custom gloves for everyone you know. Full fingers, partial fingers, or no fingers. You decide! A little bit of math is well worth the reward of the best fitting gloves you’ve ever knit.

Yarn: 250 yards fingering or sport weight yarn for full gloves. Partial fingered gloves and fingerless mitts will use less. (Fingerless mitts are pictured worn over full gloves).

Gauge: Find a fabric you like for your gloves, but a gauge of 6-8 sts/inch is recommended. Work your gauge swatch in the round.

Needles: Somewhere between US #1 and US #3 (whatever size gives you your desired gauge) for your preferred method of working in the round (double pointed, two circulars, or magic loop).

Notions: Stitch markers, tapestry needle, two lengths of waste yarn for stitch holders, calculator, small crochet hook (optional).

Skill level: Intermediate.
