Inspiration
Spring is upon us. I see branches full with buds so it won’t be long until they unfold their soft leaves to reveal their first colors and release their subtle scent <3
I am enamored by all the different processes that Nature shows us so elegantly. The growth, the shifting hues from fresh green to warm yellow to bright red. And at last, a caramel brown, just before falling to the ground, where they decompose. Giving their nutrients back to the soil and to the little creatures, fungi, lichen and mosses below. All in Nature is cyclical, it just goes on forever. There are a lot of things in life that are uncertain, but there’s one thing we can be sure about and that’s the cycle of Nature <3

As it is inspired by nature, it is part of my Poetry Collection. The pattern is therefore accompanied by a poem in the hopes that it gives more dimension to your crochet <3

About the pattern

• A written pattern in English US terms or Dutch
• Clear tutorial pictures for all the tricky bits
• Crochet diagram for the full pattern repeat
• Choose between a printer friendly version to save paper or a nicely formatted version
• Special stitches (US terms): front post stitches, crocheting front post stitches together with different lengths (explained with photos and text)
• Special technique: carying yarn up the side, so you don’t have to cut yarn after each color change (explained with photos and text)

Size
The shawl measures 97cm/38.8” at the widest point, 154cm/61.6” long at the straight side and 180cm/72” long at the diagonal side after blocking.
