This pattern is worked flat and decreased down to tip while working in a charted pattern. So you must keep an eye on what you have knitted to match up the pattern. This is why I gave it a more difficult rating.

You can used any yarn you like, but I gave a list of what I used from Knit Picks. I had all but the back ground yarn on hand, it will be the one you use the most of. The colors were part of my stash of balls that I had already used on other projects. I doubt I even used 1-2 yards on the blues that I faded from light to dark.

I also used a Pom-Pom maker that I got from my local craft store. These are available online. I used the smallest of the four that came in the kit.
