For different sizes I used different yarns and needel sizes.

Gauge:

0-3 monthes

23 stitches and 29 rows = 10 cm
29 stitches and 37 rows = 5 inches

3-6 monthes

20 stitches and 27 rows = 10 cm
26 stitches and 34 rows = 5 inches

Abbreviations

K = knit
P = purl
Sts = stitches
Kfb = knit into front and back of stitch
K2tog = knit 2 together
SSK = slip slip knit (slip the first stitch as if to knit, slip the second stitch as if to knit,
then slide the left-hand needle into the front part of both stitches and knit
them together. )
P2tog = purl 2 together
K3tog = knit 3 together
CO = cast on
RND = round
St st = stockinette stitch. (Odd-numbered rows – knit. Even-numbered rows – purl)
Materials needed
• Pair US 2 (3 mm) knitting needles for 0-3 monthes baby
• Pair US 6 (4 mm) knitting needles for 3-6 monthes baby
• For new born up to 3 monthes: 100 gr turquoise colored yarn. I used Yarn and Colors Must-Have / 100% Cotton; 50gr – 125m (137yds) / Yarn Weight 4-Ply.
• For 3-6 monthes: 100 gr turquoise colored yarn. I used DMC Natura Just Cotton Medium yarn / 100% Cotton; 50 gr (1.7oz) – 75 m (82yds)./ Yarn weight - Aran
