This pattern will create a wine bottle topper for a standard 750 mL wine bottle. Other bottles may work, but the hat may sit on various bottles differently.

Pattern was originally written to use Paton’s Classic Wool and Loops & Threads Country Loom yarn, but other yarns may be substituted. Medium weight yarn is recommend for the hat.

A leather-covered shank button is recommended but not required.
