This is my go-to, go everywhere shawl for summer. It’s perfect for cool evenings or mornings or all those places that have overactive air conditioning. The sock yarn makes it perfect to carry along - I just scrunch it up and throw it in my purse or tote. This is one result of my exploration of shawl shapings - it includes shoulder shaping (essential for me to keep track of a shawl) and the front tails could be tied. I hope that it becomes your everywhere shawl, too!

Small size -14” x 76” (36 x 193 cm), Medium size - 20” x 108” (51 x 274 cm), Large size - 28” x 160” (71 x 406 cm)
The pattern dimensions and yardage given are for the samples I knitted. It’s easy to adjust the length - just keep knitting! Since it’s top down, this also increases the width.

Note: I’ve completely reworked this pattern to include full charting/fully written instructions and additional sizes. The new pattern has been tech edited and test knitted. Thank you to my glorious test knitters! The new pattern is uploaded in August, 2012. Those who have a previous version should automatically receive the new one!
