GO GREEN BABY VEST Go Green iss a cotton/acrylic yarn that behaves like premium cotton. The yarn is available on Etsy. It is similar, though not identical to a Red Heart yarn with the same fiber content. This vest only requires about 4 oz. in total.

YARN, GAUGE AND MACHINE: Go Green yarn knitted at stitch size 4 on the bulky machine produced a gauge of 19 stitches and 26 rows per 4” after washing on the bulky machine. On a midgauge machine, use 2-4 numbers larger on the stitch dial. Use the colors available, changing them at will to create the color blocking and use up every bit. The sample sweater was created using scraps or yarn left over from an adult sweater. Sized to fit babies 10, 18 and 24 pounds.
