“Go North, go North, with wings on your feet.”

In designing this shawl, I was inspired by the popular “leaf” shaped shawls that have recently gained popularity. However, I wanted to make the same shape with crochet. I added a simple v-stitch lace pattern to keep it engaging. When thinking of a name for the design, I knew I wanted something that alluded to the v pattern, as it reminded me of geese flying South for winter. I was watching Pete’s Dragon and the song at the beginning just seemed perfect! After all, those geese have to turn around and go North so they can head South again next Winter.

Work this design in any gradient, solid, or semi-solid yarn for a beautiful wrap style shawl you’ll get lots of wear out of.
