In the spirit of Halloween I took up the challenge to make a Goat Balaclava for Blythe. Why a goat you ask, my answer- not sure. I got this idea and I had to see it through for whatever reason.

The mask (balaclava) is top down, worked flat. Simple increasing, bind off, and decreasing creates it. The horns and ears are also shaped with simple increases and decreases.

Included in the pattern is the option to make the eye holes larger which I am professionally calling saggy eyes. The balaclava looks more like a skeleton this way.

The balaclava could be made into a bunny or a deer using some of my other patterns. If my creative wheels are still turning, I will release a few add-ons.

Happy knitting!
