Well, I couldn’t find a name for this much beloved shawl, and asked my testers.
One thought that the lilys that are scattered around the mesh look like Godzilla had a walk in the garden.

The shawl is worked sideways with body and border worked at the same time.
The body is worked in mesh with added lilys (or Godzillas footprints) and is designed to give you a large shawl with a limited yardage.
The border is a tangle of leaves and keeps the brain engaged while knitting.

The shawl can be worked to pretty much any size and can be worked until the yarn is used up.

Size: Wingspan: 150cm (59 inches) Depth: 45cm (18 inches), but very easily adjustable, see pattern.

Needles: US 6 (4 mm) needles

Yarn: 400m (436 yards) of light fingering weight yarn, shown in 2 skein Yarn Edition Cashmere & Silk 50g 199 meters (218 yards).
I would suggest a solid or semis solid yarn that can hold a good blocking.

Difficulty: lace knowlage, yo, decreases, twisted stitches, knit and purl
