Squishy garter stitch and squishy babies are a match made in heaven. The Going Home Booties were designed as part of a set for my own baby to wear going home from the hospital. Slipped stitch columns add a touch of style to an otherwise simple bootie. Booties are knit from the top-down with a row of eyelet worked after cuff for lacing an I-cord tie through to make sure the bootie stays on.

Pattern has been tech edited and test knitted.
