When I was growing up, I spent weekends at Grandma’s house. I always took my special pillow and blanket with me. This pattern reminds me of the excitement I had getting to go there!

Yarn: Berroco Vintage Chunky, 36 yards per 3.5 ounces // 124 meters per 100 grams, 52% acrylic, 40% washable wool, 8% nylon, 1 hank each of Ballet Slipper (pink) and Mushroom (beige); 6 hanks of Chocolate (dark brown)

Hook: US 7 (4.5 mm) and US J (6.0mm)

Gauge: 12 esc x 10.5 rows = 4” / 20cm

Notions: Approximately 1 yard / 1 meter of worsted-weight black yarn, polyfill stuffing, tapestry needle
