Going to Wales
When going on holiday these days I find it essential to take some crochet along to keep me amused on the long journey. This scarf turned out to be the ideal travelling project for me. One ball of yarn, a nice simple pattern repeat and not too large, perfectly portable in fact.
So if you need to while away some hours in a car, on the train, or in the airport lounge, then why not give this a go?
Where will your scarf be ‘Going to…’?
This is simple scarf that uses mostly basic crochet stitches. Experience working with 4ply yarn would be helpful.
You’ll need a ball or hank of 100g (approx 430 yards) of 4ply/sock yarn
Actually you could use any yarn you like for the pattern, you’ll just need to adjust the stitch count and number of rows accordingly. And use a hook size appropriate for your yarn of course.
3.5mm (USA E)
Or recommended hook for your yarn.
You can easily adapt the size of this scarf to suit your taste and yardage
