This shawl is designed in collaboration between Iwona Eriksson and yarn store Garn Specialisten.

Gold Gate is a triangular shawl worked from one corner to the long edge on the opposite side. It is worked in stockinette stitch with eyelet stripes.
This shawl uses both increases and decreases. The result is an asymmetric triangular shawl with extra length for wrapping around your neck.

The shawl may be worked in any weight yarn. Gauge is not crucial for this project.
The pattern is flexible. It is a simple shawl pattern that can be worked in many sizes and different yarn weights. Note that yardage requirements will be different for different yarn weights and sizes.
