Enjoy a classic New England style cowl with wave and golden codfish motifs encircling you. The codfish is a traditional Massachusetts emblem, specifically representing the town of Marblehead where people hand gold leaf cods above their doorways to point to the ocean.
This knit uses three colors and is a good beginner pattern for someone interesting in learning multi stranded knitting. The knitter will carry yarn through behind their stitches (floats) and switch when a color change is needed.
