The Golden Eye shawl is made of two halves that mirror each other. The widest width from tip to tip is provisionally cast on and knit to the outer edge. The provisional cast on is then pulled out and put back on the needles, and the second half of the shawl is know in the same way as the first. Lastly the entire edge is picked up to knit the ribbing and I-cords are knit onto the corners.
You can wear the shawl 3 different ways because of the unique shape. Enjoy!

Finished Measurements : 45” (112 cm) long and 17” (43 cm) wide

Approx. 220 yds of Worsted weight yarn (Sample knit with two skeins of Malabrigo worsted)

Needles :
Size US 9 (5.5 mm) Circular needle in 32 inch
2 US 9 (5.5 mm) double pointed needles
Crochet hook size J (5.75 mm) or a similar size (larger is better than a smaller hook )

Waste yarn - Worsted or lighter gauge (preferably cotton thread to minimise stickiness)
