The Golden Plover is a meanwhile rare shorebird with a gold sprinkled plumage. This shawl-pattern tries to recreate this shimmering yellow and my joy watching this bird, for yellow is the most joyful colour of all.
You need lots of yellow or just that special yellow you like. Or any other colours you love. Following the pattern from bottom up you can make it any size. You don’t need to worry about weaving in ends, because they all end up in fringes.
It is an easy pattern and you can concentrate on mixing your favourite colours.
You can use up lots of leftovers in this or buy some special lovely handdyed yarn, or both.
This is a pattern to relax and have fun.
It is free, because fun is free, too.
The pattern is in German and an English version is planned. It includes a chart.
