A blanket based on the mathematical golden ratio. This blanket starts with the smallest block and stitches are picked up to add subsequent blocks. The blanket is finished with an applied I-cord edge.

The instructions also include directions for back-stitching or surface crocheting the golden ratio spiral onto the top of the blanket if you wish.

If knit to accurate gauge, this blanket will be mathematically correct down to the 1/10th of an inch. (Except in the center… as it turns out, it’s impossible to knit infinitely small squares.)

Yarn requirements by color.

150 (225, 350) yds color B
