Good Neighbor is a large, totally reversible shawl. Use two skeins of your favorite variegated fingering weight yarn for this project. It was designed to show off those beautiful multicolored skeins. This shawl looks fabulous from both sides. Like a “good neighbor fence” there is no wrong side.
Good Neighbor is worked from one end to the other increasing to the widest point then decreasing to the other end. The body is garter stitch interrupted by three decorative eyelet rows, off-set to one side, adding character and interest. The completely reversible lace edging is worked as you go in a six row repeat that creates decorative points along the edge.
Two yardage options are given with two corresponding size options.
