This advanced beginner, gender-neutral sock was inspired by the colours on the west coast of Vancouver Island. The yarn was dyed with a view to the local rocks and trees, as well as the flashes of colour visible on the region’s many totem poles.

While this particular yarn was part of a limited dye lot, the simple beauty of this sock pattern will shine through with whichever yarn you choose.

Other than to get gauge, do not use larger needles to make a bigger sock as this will result in a less than desirable fabric.
