Gooseberry Stitch

A Second Treasury of Knitting Patterns
Knitting

From the Stitch Description: This is a splendid “knobbly” pattern for hats, jacket panels, pockets, collars and cuffs, handbags, afghans, and extra-chunky sweaters. The gooseberries are bigger and bolder than any other “berry” motifs, and have more firmness and body than bobbles. The wrong side of this fabric is perfectly flat; this pattern requires no blocking.
