A hat that is interesting to knit but simpler than it looks!

It is suited to any aran or worsted weight yarns. It can be made more or less slouchy as preferred and looks good on both men and women.

It is knitted on slightly smaller needles than you might expect as this create a warm hat that doesn’t stretch out of shape but still fits a variety of adult head sizes.

The hat is named after Gordale Scar in the Yorkshire Dales & is to be part of a Yorkshire Dales inspired series of patterns, joining Brimham Mitts & Wensleydale Socks!
