The gauge for the pattern was calculated using smaller needles (US size 6/4 mm) with the suggested yarn. Using smaller needles than the size indicated on the yarn sleeve creates a sturdier body that will hold its shape when stuffed.
Yardages are 128 yards for the main part of the body and 32 yards for the contrasting stripe.
