This delicate wrap is made with a silk and mohair blend. Wrap it around baby for photos (it is very stretchy), tucking the ends in. It gives a delicate, sheer appearance and because it is translucent, it doesn’t take focus off of the baby.

Use yarn with a lot of halo for a glowing effect, or a minimal halo to optimize the definition of your subject. Try a lace weight yarn without a halo for a decorate effect with a clean, crisp look. Use a self-striping yarn with long color changes for a multi-colored starburst effect. The options are endless!

The pattern includes instructions for how to alter the finished size if you would like to make a larger wrap. It is an intermediate pattern, but the pattern repeats are easy to remember. Because it is knit on large needles, it is a quick knit.

Skills required include cast on, knit stitch, purl stitch, increase/decreases, yarn over and binding off.
