The long cowl in a sport weight yarn, it gains warmth not only from the fibers, but in using slipped stitches for lofty spaces. At the right length, it can be worn long and open as a wardrobe accent, doubled for neck warmth, or pulled over the head as cap/hood coverage.

To avoid having a side that looks nicer, or “wrong”-er than the other, I found slipped stitch patterns that could be worked by alternating purl and knit stitches to create bands of texture changes, or eyelet ribbing.

Color changes are optional, I designed this as a stash-buster.
