The Got Wool? Sheep Hat is a hand knit version of a design I worked on with my friend for her knitting machine. The hats were so popular at the fiber festivals I vended, and I got so many inquiries about a pattern for the hat, that I decided it was time to convert it!

This is an intermediate level pattern. You’ll need to be able to read a chart, knit in the round, and do stranded colorwork for this project.

There are 2 sizes listed, one for a 21” unstretched band, and one for 23” unstretched band. There are also simple directions for how to adjust the size within the pattern.

The pattern has 2 pages of directions, and 2 different charts so that you can make either the “got wool” version or the “double sheep” version :)

You’ll need approx 65g (250yd) of your main hat color, and about 15g (60yd) of the sheep color.
