I was inspired to design this sweater while watching an episode of the hilarious TV series Grace and Frankie. Jane Fonda was wearing a beautiful striped sweater with some details on the front neck accompanied by an interesting button placement. I immediately knew I wanted a sweater like that and I hope you will too! The Grace and Frankie Sweater is knitted flat in pieces and then seamed together, circular needles are only used to accommodate the number of stitches. You knit from the bottom up the Back, the Front and the Saddle Shoulder Sleeves. You will then sew the saddle straps to the shoulders and knit the neckband in two stages. Then set in the sleeves and sew underarm and sleeve seams. The last touch is sewing the buttons in place…and you’re done!
