The pattern gets its name from my yoga studio, Grace Yoga and Healing Pathways in Cloverdale, Virginia. My teacher asked if I’d like to put out some knitted accessories for sale in the studio. I started with a simple hat, the Grace Yoga Hat (available on Patternfish) and decided to add some matching fingerless gloves…and the Grace Yoga Mitts were born!

Grace Yoga Mitts feature 3 sizes - tweens and teens, adult woman and adult man - and a very simple, attractive design. You’ll start with snug K1P1 ribbing for the cuff, then switch to a larger needle to begin the pattern stitch: a simple series of stockinette rounds with a garter ridge every 4 rounds. The pattern includes instructions for making a gusset for the thumb. You’ll end the fingertip cuff with 6 more rounds of ribbing.

The mitts are shown in 3 colors from Cascade Eco+. They are:
#8885 Dark Plum
#9322 Sapphire
#8511 Valentine

They are shown in one color from Cascade Ecological Wool:
#8010 Ecru

The mitts match the Grace Yoga Hat, also found in my Ravelry Store!
