The Gradient Blocks Tote crochet pattern is a fun project to work up an a wide variety of colors. This tote is great for carrying crochet projects or notebooks (That’s if your kids don’t take it over!).

Crochet Pattern written in US terms

Skill Level: Easy

Hook Size: J 10-6.00mm

Materials:
~Deborah Norville Everyday or similar 4ww yarn
~Color A (Dark Grey): 220 yards
~Color B (Light Grey): 203 yards
~Color C (White): 61 yards
~(Optional) foam board for bottom of bag ¼” thick cut to 10.5” long x 2.5” wide
~4 stitch markers

Finished Size: 11” x 3” & 11” height or continue working repeat rows for a taller bag

Stitches/Abbreviations:
st(s) - stitch(es), sl st - slip stitch, ch - chain, yo - yarn over, sc - single crochet, hdc - half double crochet, dc - double crochet, tr - treble crochet

Special Stitches:
BPsc - Back Post single crochet, Reverse single crochet, sc2tog - single crochet 2 sts together, sc3tog - single crochet 3 sts together, Standing sc, Standing dc (if you’re not familiar with standing stitches, you can work basic turning chains in their place)
