This slouchy cabled hat is worked bottom up in the round, with a cable panel offset asymmetrically by a wide wale rib. Swift decreasing produces a gathered crown. Notes are also included for a beanie fit! Cable pattern is both fully written and charted. Check out the Gramps Cardigan in child & adult sizes for more of this stitch pattern combination. Hat shown in Medium.

Errata: the definition for T4Ftog is written incorrectly. It should read: Slip 2 sts to cable needle and hold to front, p2tog, k2 from cable needle.
