This is an elongated triangle starting with a leaf and ending with an accent leaf. The leaves grow from a stem and end at the top of the tree with smaller sprouting leaves.

I have now added the draft of the alternate ending which gives the shawl a shape more like a crescent. It is currently in test knit status. (The bottom two pictures show the decreasing curve but is not precisely how I ended the final design) (7/13)

NOTE: Ignore the numbers on the graph. I haven’t made them big enough to see. I highly recommend using a pencil to mark off the lines as you work them. Even I became confused with my own graph when I put my work down and picked it up, as each set of rows is very similar.

I would like to acknowledge a fellow raveler Sasse who has provided thoughtful feedback.
