In this soft angora-wool cardigan, Kathy Zimmerman set out to capture the essence of the cardigans popular in her grandmother’s heyday. True to Grandma’s taste, Kathy chose a squared neck, subtle set-in sleeves, and a lacy rib stitch. The sweater pieces are worked from the lower edges upward, then sewn together. The neckband and front bands are worked last. The sweater is finished with small, sparkly buttons in vintage “button-box” style.
