Free pattern isn’t available yet. But will be soon

This pattern was designed for my late grandfather who always had his penny loafers on. It is a Intermediate pattern, leaning towards beginner friendly, for everyone wanting to venture out into cables and slipped stitches. The patterning is on the front side and it’s a Stockinette on the backside with a heel flap, short row heel turn and short row toe. If you do want a chart for an easier read, message me and I will send it to you as soon as I can.

This pattern can be worked in Magic loop, 2 at a time or on DPNs. Gauge is 7-8 sts x 10 rounds= 1”, so they are incredibly customizable.

You will need:
•300- 500 yards of Fingering weight yarn.
•US Size 2 (2.75 mm) needles in either DPNs or a 32” circular.
•Darning needle

She sizing is in Womens & Mens but here is a guideline for the pattern in US & EU terms:
•Small: Womens 3-5 (EU 34-35)/ Mens 4-7 (EU 35-40)
•Medium: womens 6-9 (EU 37-40)/ Mens 8-10 (EU 41-43)
•Large: Womens 10-14 (EU 41-47)/ Mens 11-15 (EU 44-49)
