From the Knit Picks Website:

This pretty lace shoulder shawl is all about contrast--of fiber, texture, pattern, and color. The main body of the triangle is crisp merino wool and silk, across which a graceful pattern undulates seamlessly. Frothy mohair edging adds a romantic finishing touch.

My color combination was inspired by a long-ago climbing trip to the Grampian Mountains in Scotland, where I was impressed by the bold granite cliffs ringed perpetually in fluffy clouds. Of course, any color scheme is possible, from contrasting colors to subtle monochromatic effects.

Skill level: If you are comfortable following a lace chart and knitting-on a border, this garment is well within your reach. A series of double joins eases the edging around the points of the triangle.
