You’ll need 2 or 3 colors of yarn to crochet this mile-a-minute style afghan. Mine was made with 8 strips joined and a border added around the edge. I used 3 colors of Aran weight yarn--2 colors I used 456 yards and the third color I used 608 yards for a total of 1,520 yards -- and a size I crochet hook. Finished measurement: 50” x 49”. The 5 page pattern has written instructions and two crochet charts. This design was recreated from a picture found online of an unusual mile-a-minute design that begins with 2 rows of dc instead of shells in the center. No source could be found for the design and I recreated it to keep it from being lost. Enjoy!
