This flirty, simple shawl is quick to stitch. The pattern makes a shallow shawl that is perfect for all seasons, but it’s easily adaptable to make a shawl of any size. Written pattern and charts are included.

Sock or fingering weight yarn (CYCA #1
medium), 420 yds
Shown in Araucania Ranco Sock Yarn, 100
g/344 m/376 yd, 75% wool, 25% polyamide,
MC: Teal #108, 1 skein
CC1: Maroon #119, 1 skein
4.0 mm crochet hook (US G)
Tapestry needle
Any fingering weight to make pattern as shown. Can easily be worked up in thicker yarns for a larger size scarf/shawl.

Finished size
60 inches 155 cm x 16 ½ inches 42 cm long
(center neck to center point), before blocking.

Gauge
First 5 rows of center shawl = 4 ½ inches 11.4
cm
wide x 2 ½ inches 6.5 cm long.
To measure gauge, work first 6 or 7 rows then
measure the width and length of the first 5
rows.
