A crochet pattern for a fashionable granny square clutch bag.

Start with six granny square motifs that are joined together to form a ring. Crochet around the top of the ring for a few rounds and then create an opening for the handles. Crochet around the bottom of the ring and continue the body of the bag in the granny square pattern. Crochet the base and attach to bag. Attach a crocheted button and your clutch bag is complete.

Size: Approximately 22” around (measured below the granny squares) and 8” in depth.
Experience: Intermediate.
Materials: Basic Stitch Premium (a size 4 or worsted weight yarn) from Lion Brand Yarns.
Tools: Boye crochet hooks, U.S. sizes G and H.
Please note: Instructions come in an easy to read, easy to understand pattern and are written in U.S. crochet terminology.
