Each square measures 2-1⁄2” x 2-1⁄2” (6.35 mm x 6.35 mm)

Poncho: Make 96 Basic Squares and 4 Half Squares (for neck). 12 different versions are provided. Sew squares together invisibly as shown in assembly chart. Work edging to finish.

Beret is worked in the round from the top down to make the crown. Make 10 squares and join to form a ring. Sew to top of beret. Ribbed border is worked flat and sewn on to finish.
