A strong, useful tote bag in a traditional granny square pattern. Easy to crochet, fun to try with different color combinations.

The bag is perfect for a day at the Farmer’s Market or just a trip to the grocery store. It will naturally stretch to fit lots of groceries or vegies. A strong, pretty bag, it can also be used as a tote, book bag or beach bag.

The bag is about 16 inches across and 15 inches deep but you can make it any size you’d like. It has extra thick straps that are crocheted onto the bag for extra strength.

The pattern is not difficult and is appropriate for anyone with basic crochet skills. It works up quickly.
