This is not a step by step pattern, but it should be an easy guide to follow. I didn’t like how my squares kept turning out with rounded corners, so I combined different Granny Square techniques to come up with a nice square shape. I also wanted to modernize the blanket by using bigger blocks of colour.

In the last picture it shows the difference I’m talking about in my squares. The square on the left is what I kept getting & was unhappy with. Very rounded corners & the open work…wasn’t. But the one on the right is the one I’ve written up with nice pointy corners & good open work.
