I was browsing through pinterest and I found this adorable star ornament that I NEEDED TO MAKE RIGHT AWAY! But when I searched for a pattern, I couldn’t find one.

So I reverse engineered it. And since it really is just a copy of something I saw online, I’m giving the pattern to you as a gift.

DON’T SAY I’VE NEVER GIVEN YOU ANYTHING!!

I made up the pattern using worsted weight. If you decide to make the ornament version, I really wouldn’t go smaller. But if you want to make a garland, you could easily go with fingering or DK weight yarn. Just make sure to change your hook accordingly. You don’t want your star to be lacy. I like them a little on the solid side.

The puff stitch can be a little annoying at first. Just keep your hands nice and loose. With practice they get easier.

That’s it! I hope you like it.
