This pattern benefits from blocking. It was a little tight on my forearm (9.5” circumference) but after blocking fit fine. In retrospect, I might have made the cuffs longer, and a little bigger in diameter, but am otherwise happy with the results.

The pattern is pretty much my own, and the cable pattern is inspired from a book even if it is a really simple one. I intentionally off-set the cables and I think they look pretty cool.

Also, where the pattern says:

Gusset Set up Rnd 1: K1, pm, inc1, k1, pm, k2, p1, sm, follow cable pattern, sm, p1, k to end

Set up Rnd 23: K1, sm, k2, sm, k2, p1, sm, follow cable pattern, sm, p1, k to end.

Following cable pattern, work increases every third row as follows

It should actually say:

Gusset Set up Rnd 1: K1, pm, inc1, k1, pm, k2, p1, sm, follow cable pattern, sm, p1, k to end

Set up Rnd 2-3: K1, sm, k2, sm, k2, p1, sm, follow cable pattern, sm, p1, k to end.

Following cable pattern, work increases every third row as follows
