This is my first Ravelry pattern! I’ve been making amigurumi dolls for the better part of 18 months now, and for the most part I just work from my head, so making this was a bit of a lesson in patience and paying attention.

Gauge isn’t important, neither is yarn weight (I like using thinner yarn for smaller toys) or hook size (as long as it’s the right size to hook a tight weave). The thicker your yarn, the larger your needle, the bigger your finished object will be. In the same vein, the actual yarn fiber itself isn’t important. I use cotton (my faaaaaaaaaave!) and wool (good, but kinda itchy and a pain in the butt to pull out).

You won’t need a tonne of it, so it’s a great way to work through those left over odds and sods left in a stash after a big clean out. Obviously the colour green plays an important roll.

Like I said, this is my first pattern, if you find any bugs just send me a PM so I can update the listing. :)

Oh, and just a word of warning, don’t glue yourself to your ami. It sucks.
