Inspired by birdsong and the promise of spring, the Greenfinch Mitts are the second of my Feathered Friends Collection, and they’re a match for the Greenfinch Cowl (shown in one of the photos here).

There is now also a Siskin Hat in this series and you can buy all 3 patterns together for a discount. The price for the set is £9.95 (that’s a savings of £4.45 off the price of buying the patterns separately).

If you put 3 patterns in your cart together, the price will automatically reduce to £9.95 (no coupon code required).

If you bought any of these 3 patterns already, whatever you spent on on them will be counted towards the price of the set so long as you’re logged into the same ravelry account when you make both purchases

Knitted in the round, they have a mock eyelet cable rib to the cuffs and edges, while the hands are in practical stocking stitch with a panel featuring my signature birdy feet formed with twisted stitches. Both these stitch patterns are easy to memorise so it’s not an arduous knit - though you will need to keep a gently eye on what you are doing. If you can knit and purl confidently you’ll be able to do this just fine, and if you are an experienced hand it’ll be a satisfying and quick project.

Pattern includes a link to a video tutorial for the twisted german cast on which is recommended for the project.

SIZES - S,M & L
