‘grisig the cat’ is a sweet little catlike toy. It requires less than a skein and therefore can be made with leftovers, especially the 2-colour-version.
I prefer cotton for my knitted toys, but you can basically use any yarn in your stash. Made from sportsweight cotton, the little fellow stands about 16cm tall.

The pattern includes written instructions only.

It is possible to knit this in a day, if you keep at it, but I would suggest to plan a weekend to avoid wrist pains.
