Socks are knit toe-up using JMC with a German short-row heel. These socks are perfect for using odd scraps of fingering weight/ sock weight yarn. I used 6 colors in my sample but you can use whatever colors you’d like. They would look amazing with a mohair strand to make them fluffy. I included 8 sizes for those who need more or fewer stitches but don’t want to fiddle with the colorwork chart. Sample socks are a size 3, 4, and 5.

Sizing of the socks:
To achieve a snug fit, measure the widest part of your foot and the size you pick should be .5-1in smaller (or 1-3cm) smaller. My foot measures 8inches and I knit my sock for 7.5inches or size 3. To get the correct foot length measure from the end of the heel to the tip of your toes, to measure where the heel should start measure from your toes to the joint between leg and foot.
