To create your very own Gru, you’ll need gray, black and skin-colored yarn, stuffing, and embroidery thread in white and black. You’ll also need some experience in the areas of picking up stitches, short rows, and grafting. Other than that bit of grafting, this pattern is seamless. It won’t take long to finish this fairly simple pattern: Gru will be ready to steal the moon in no time!

Note: If you choose to knit the jacket as well, you will need to make Gru’s arms longer by at least 5 rounds after the decreases. You will also need approximately 50 more yards of black yarn and a metal zipper.
