This sock blanket is worked in a way that separates each block with a border and adds finishing border in crochet to the edges as you work it. Crochet is not necessairy, but a clever way to finish the edging as you work. When you are done with the last band of squares the only finishing that is needed is the bottom edging.

I am a mirror knitter and crocheter. I strive to provide instructions that cater to mirror knitters (those who knit/crochet left to right). I explain how to follow this as a standard knitter.

The blanket is constructed so the squares are point up and is worked with the squares being picked up and worked straight across. The edges of this blanket will be pointy.

Use this as a foundation and switch it up however you want..

This pattern was written before the blanket is completely finished. But the instructors will give a complete blanket.
