This pattern is available from knittymcpurly.com for $6.00.

This pattern is free, but I would ask that you please make a donation of at least $5 to Andrew Doig via this link before you download it: paypal.me/fruityknitting.

If you have already donated, please make another donation! I know they appreciate it so much, and me giving you this fun little pattern is a small way of saying thank you. ♥

I have been wanting to do a fundraiser for Andrew and Andrea ever since I heard about his brain tumor and expensive treatment that he needs. I hope you enjoy this cute and FAST colorwork hat pattern as a wee thanks!

I had been dragging my feet on publishing this because the Knitty McPurly yarn called for in the pattern isn’t yet ready (I’m going through a bit of cancer treatment of my own that slows everything down), but I know they need the help now, so please feel free to use whatever bulky weight yarn you have in your stash - even scraps!

Every wardrobe needs at least one fun, colorwork, relaxed fit hat! This hat knits itself in just a few hours and is so warm and cozy! And it’s perfect for those who need a little extra TLC in the cranial area - the roomy fit and all the soft floats on the inside make for a ridiculously comfortable hat. Use a Knitty McPurly Hat Kit or some scrap yarn from your stash to make this super fast knit!
